Ownership of Centers
IHF currently owns the buildings for all five (5) centers in operation. The buildings were bought at local rates by IHF Founder Carol Sasaki and her friends.
Ongoing Program Costs
The ongoing costs of our programs, and repairs for our centers, are funded by volunteer fees and general donations.
To use funds for specific IHF programs granted by many normal, everyday people, from all religions, backgrounds, and cultures around the world, for anything but the basic needs detailed in our programs would be unfair to our donors and sponsors, and at odds with our particular mission.
All donated funds to specific IHF programs go directly to helping children in need, and is used for that purpose and that purpose only.
IHF is a volunteer-led organisation. All long-term and short-term volunteers to our centers pay for their own airfares. As a result, IHF has very few administrative costs.
Private donors cover our operating costs, so all funds donated to our IHF programs go directly to helping children in need, and is used for that purpose and that purpose only.
