Join us in kicking off the giving season this #GivingTuesday! 7 Days of Giving is a week long campaign to highlight our 7 sponsorship programs, each one addressing a specific need in the lives of the children we work with. Give back and make a very real impact on the life a child and their community through our sponsorship program.

Day 1

The IHF Nutrition Sponsorship Program was developed as a supplement to our Children's Home Program in order to provide the children who live there with a wide array and preparation of nutritious foods, clean drinking water, and the development of healthy eating habits. Monthly donations made to the IHF Nutrition Sponsorship Program are used to finance the high cost of accessing fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy grains, and nutritious proteins in developing countries.

Day 2

Our Education Program was developed to provide children from impoverished backgrounds with no means to go to school a chance for an education. The Education Program is a sponsorship-funded project, and monthly donations go towards financing school related expenses such as school fees, transportation, uniforms, and books.

Day 3

Our Medical Sponsorship Program was developed to provide the children living at our orphanages and safe-homes with better hygiene, medical and dental care. As with our many other programs, the Medical Program is a sponsorship-funded project, to which monthly donations go towards financing regular medical and dental exams, basic hygiene products and facilities, as well as any costs associated with emergency care and hospitalization.

Day 4

IHF Orphanages and Safe-Homes around the world are open to the most vulnerable and marginalized children from nomadic/tribal villages. Through our monthly Orphans Sponsorship Program, you not only help to provide our children a safe place to call home, you also give them the family, love, and care they deserve.

Day 5

Our centers across Indonesia operate free and open classes, taught by local teachers in congruence with international volunteers. The main focus of our classes is to teach English, math, and computer skills to empower these children so that someday they will change the rest of the world.

Day 6

Our Higher Education program exists to assist high school graduates enrolled in our sponsorship programs, who exhibit a desire to further their education beyond secondary school. Program sponsorship gives them the precious opportunity to pursue University studies or vocational training, advancing their chances of employment.

Day 7

Our center in Nakuru, Kenya runs a Peace Farm, dedicating most of our 14 acres of land to farming. Any excess produce is contributed to our Famine Feed Program with local tribes. By donating livestock, you will help to keep our center self-sustainable and provide valuable food such as fresh eggs and milk to areas of instability and famine.

Creativity is not only the ability to make up new songs, create a piece of art every day, or even build marvelous architectural pieces. A creative person will also constantly seek solutions to the new problems that arise every day. Creative people work with something they already have and transform it in order to create something completely new.

Class Sponsorship (CSP)

IHF Centers around the world operate free and open classes, taught by local teachers in congruence with international volunteers. In the developing countries where we operate, the education systems are still lagging behind. Public schools are unable to equip children with the tools they need to face the future with confidence. Our main focus is to compensate for these gaps by teaching English, math and computer skills in order to enable our children to spread their ideas through communication...

Continuing Education

Our Education Program, TEP, ends for a child upon graduation from high school, leaving these impoverished teens with having to work for low wages or getting married and raising a family, as their families are not able to afford the costs to send their child to vocational school or university. Our Continuing Education Program, or TEPU, helps provide these teenagers the opportunity for that next step after high school, vocational training or university, so that they can break the vicious cycle of poverty...

Peace Farm

Our Nakuru Peace Farm is an extension of our home and brings together people from all surrounding Pokot tribes. It's a 6-acre land in the Rift Valley, which is the most fertile area of Kenya. Here we are planting the land and raising livestock. Our children love this land and are eager to assist in tending to it. Some of them have even asked the farmers to begin teaching them about agriculture. It's a place of peace, development and sustainability. What we reap from this land provides for our children.
